TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
